Choosing the right shipping method for your wholesale jewelry order protects both your profit margin and your inventory investment. Jewelry is small, high-value and often time-sensitive, which makes logistics planning a critical part of the sourcing process. In this guide, we cover every shipping option Holycome offers, typical lead times, cost structures, trade terms and documentation requirements for importing jewelry from China to destinations worldwide.
Express Courier: DHL, FedEx and UPS
Express courier is the best choice for samples, small orders, urgent reorders and shipments under 200 kilograms. Door-to-door delivery takes three to seven business days from our Wuzhou factory to your door in most countries. All express shipments include automatic insurance up to the declared value, and tracking is fully visible from pickup to final delivery. Most of our small-batch orders and first-time trial orders ship via express, because the speed lets you get products in front of customers fastest. Express is also the most reliable option for time-sensitive restocks before a selling season.
Air Freight for Medium Bulk Orders
For bulk orders between 200 and 500 kilograms, air freight offers significant savings per kilogram compared to express courier. The goods fly from Guangzhou or Hong Kong international airport to your nearest international airport, clear customs, and then deliver to your address by local courier. Total lead time is typically seven to twelve days from factory pickup to delivery. This is our recommended shipping option for orders between 500 and 2000 pieces, where the per-unit shipping savings justify the slightly longer transit time.
Sea Freight for Large Repeat Orders
Large repeat orders above 500 kilograms are most economical by sea freight. We offer both LCL (less-than-container load), where your goods share a container with other shipments, and FCL (full container load), where you rent the entire container exclusively. Sea freight takes twenty-five to thirty-five days to reach major ports including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Sydney, Dubai and Vancouver. The per-unit shipping cost drops dramatically, which is why established retailers replenishing proven best sellers typically choose sea freight for their quarterly orders.
Trade Terms We Support
Holycome works with all standard international Incoterms to match your experience level and logistics preferences. FOB Shenzhen means we deliver the goods to the port and you arrange and pay for international shipping. CIF means we include freight and insurance to your destination port. EXW means you collect directly from our factory. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means we handle absolutely everything: export, international shipping, import customs clearance, taxes and final door delivery. DDP is the simplest option for first-time importers who do not have a customs broker in their home country.
Export Documentation and Insurance
We handle all required export paperwork: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, jewelry export declarations and any product-specific certificates required by your destination country, including GIA, IGI or GRA documentation. Every jewelry shipment is fully insured for its declared value. We use tamper-evident packaging and discreet outer cartons that do not indicate the high-value contents. For especially high-value shipments, we can arrange secured courier services through specialist logistics providers. Tell us your destination country and order quantity, and we will quote the most cost-effective and reliable shipping option for your timeline.
